Let's keep it light at the beginning of this week with some food recommendations! If you're looking for only real estate info and don't like good food, feel free to delete this and move along to the next email in your inbox.
We've tried a few new restaurants recently that I really enjoyed! Myself and the wifey like to drop the kids off at the grandparent's house every week or two and go out on date night! Check it out...
Eos and Nyx - Loved it! Been here twice recently and was good both times. It's on the pricey side so it's definitely a treat but worth it. Downtown SJ with a hip, adults only vibe, make sure you make a reservation because it gets busy fast. Great bar here as well. Get the bruschetta, you will 100% not be disappointed.
Puerta Del Sol - We went to Spain a couple of years ago, and man, do I love me some tomato bread! Puerta Del Sol is in South San Jose and close to my house, so I am biased here, but if you're looking for traditional Spanish food with a great atmosphere and friendly staff, this one's for you. More affordable but fancy enough for a nice date night. We've also taken the kids here no problem, but mostly, it's couples and groups of adults. Pro tip: skip the dessert and walk across the parking lot to Blossom and Bourbon and get the "milk and cookies", again, a 100% satisfaction rate.
Back-A-Yard - Not a new place for me but I hadn't been back in years. They have many locations all over. Happy we revisited this old favorite as it always hits the spot! Carribean food at its finest. Casual, bring the kids, be loud, let down your hair and eat up! Just get the combo plate, order extra sauce and enjoy. Grab a few sides as well, the collard greens are top notch.
